Car
If you prefer, you can rent a car and drive to the town of Chiquilá. However, you will then have to park it there for the duration of your stay, as private vehicles are not allowed on Isla Holbox.
From Cancún’s Central Bus Station
At Cancún’s Central Bus Station you can take a bus to the port of Chiquilá (about 3.5 hours). From there you can board a speedboat or a ferry, which leaves every hour, to Isla Holbox.
